I'd wanted to support missions for years but didn't know where to start. Switchboard matched me with a ministry in Southeast Asia that needed exactly my skills as a graphic designer. In two months I'd completed three projects — from my kitchen table.

I was carrying a lot alone. I had needs I couldn't post publicly for security reasons and didn't know how to find trustworthy support. Switchboard connected me with a mentor who had served in my region and understood the security constraints. I also found a financial advisor who helped restructure our fundraising. I finally felt less alone.

I’ve long dreamed of something like Switchboard, an easier way to connect the vast (and often under-utilized) resources in the Church with strategic needs among the least reached. This is a digital breakthrough that will encourage our front-line workers and help advance the Gospel globally.

I found it to be extremely rewarding–just getting connected with people in the mission field. It felt like I took a huge step forward into the mission field just by offering a very small amount of my time. The people I’ve met have all been just super cool. They all have very different ministries and I’ve honestly just enjoyed hearing their stories as much as providing help.

I really appreciate the great work Switchboard is doing. Our organization is now on track to have online presence visibility through a website that will help us to advance the Great commission. Indeed, Switchboard is a ministry enabler, I will encourage other ministries to key into this great kingdom commission as they're the next step to your destination.

Switchboard changes how we can think about mobilizing people toward the Great Commission. Many of the questions and challenges that we are presented with when mobilizing our congregation involve people’s limited time and specific interests. Switchboard provides an answer to both of those needs.
