Four leading organizations dedicated to advancing the Great Commission are partnering to mobilize skilled virtual volunteers to support and enhance the work of field missionaries. Funded by a Missio Nexus Collaboration Grant, Pioneers, Christar, Missio Nexus and Switchboard are collaborating in an initiative to involve believers in ministry around the world through the Switchboard platform.

This initiative includes the launch of two key resources:

• Church Global Ministry Engagement Kit
• Global Partner Engagement Kit

These innovative kits are designed to equip both churches and missionaries with the necessary tools to engage virtual volunteers in global missions. The Church Global Ministry Engagement Kit will empower congregations to mobilize their members for missions, while the Global Partner Engagement Kit will provide crucial support to missionaries through the expertise of remote volunteers.

These shared assets will be piloted in select organizations this fall, with plans to make them widely available to other Great Commission organizations once they are fully developed.

This initiative represents a new standard for collaboration among missions organizations to involve the Body of Christ in God’s global work, leveraging the skills and dedication of volunteers worldwide. “It is amazing to see God working through this team,” says Scott Elequin, executive director of Switchboard. “We want to deliver something that can be shared by all to benefit His Kingdom.”
